Naked Wines has partnered with the distillery Gyre and Gimble to introduce an exclusive paper bottle edition of the award-winning Coastal Gin to its range.
The launch of the exclusive product follows the announcement that by the end of 2022, more than 20% of Naked’s wine bottles will be lighter in weight.
The packaging is made from 94% recycled paper, is 100% recyclable and five times lighter than a normal glass bottle. Manufactured only 40 miles away from both Norfolk-based businesses, the carbon footprint is about six times smaller than a traditional glass bottle.

“We’ve always wanted to prioritise ethical, sustainable production and this partnership with Naked is a massive step for us towards that goal,” Gyre & Gimble co-founder Craig Allison said.
“Changing consumer behaviour is a real challenge for a small independent business like ours, but with the support of an industry heavyweight like Naked on board, we can reach a lot more people.”
