The parent company of Pilgrims Choice cheddar and Kerrygold butter, Ornua Foods, has appointed Nadia Bidzinska as its new head of sustainability.
Bidzinska is an environment and sustainability veteran with more than 13 years’ experience in a range of industry sectors.
In her new position, Bidzinska will help shape and drive forward the FMCG giant’s sustainability strategy.

“I’m looking forward to working with colleagues right across the business here in Leek and with the Ornua group sustainability team,” Bidzinska said.
“Ornua already has an ambitious and dynamic sustainability strategy in place at group level and, in my role at Ornua Foods UK.
“I look forward to specifically developing and activating a targeted sustainability strategy that not only dovetails with that of the group, but also provides us with the necessary focus to channel our resources into areas where we can have the biggest impact, such as circular packaging and emissions reduction.”
Most recently, she held the position of environmental manager at Laing O’Rourke, being responsible for leading its northern environmental team within construction business.
