Snappy Shopper COO departs after 3 years

The chief operating officer of home delivery service Snappy Shopper, Mark Steven, has left the business after just three years.

Steven joined the delivery service in 2019 and was later appointed to COO in April 2021.He was also responsible for helping grow the app from three stores to over 1,500.

The news comes over a month after group sales director of e-commerce, Paul Adams, announced his departure from the firm.

Steven said he is enormously proud to have contributed to the incredible success of Snappy Shopper.”

Snappy Shopper CEO Mike Callahan said: “Mark leaves with our gratitude. Mark has been instrumental in getting us to where we are today, most notably navigating us from a fledgling start up, to a scaling business, securing £19.6 million at a Series fundraise and also developing key strategic partnerships, including Paypoint,.

“He has played a pivotal role in growing the Snappy business and developing it into the foremost convenience store home delivery player in the UK. Whilst disappointed to lose Mark, we thank him for all the effort and contribution he has made to Snappy and wish him well for the future.”
