Great British Drinks Company appoints Dominic Metcalfe as MD
Great British Drinks company has appointed Dominic Metcalfe as its new managing director, as it strengthens its executive team towards the next phase of growth.
The business manages a wide portfolio of alcohol brands, including Purity Brewing Co. and Black Sheep brewery.
He brings years of experience to the role, having previously worked as the former managing director of local beer business Buxton Brewery.
Metcalfe worked at Buxton Brewery for two and a half years, where he created strong experience driving commercial growth and building customer relationships according to the business.

As part of his new role, he will work alongside the company’s founders to progress towards Great British Drinks Company’s goal of promoting local brewing.
The company aims to continue investing in its breweries, expand its portfolio of brands, and develop its ambition to restore regional British brewing.
