Nisa unveils Co-op’s new Food-to-go range

Nisa has unveiled Co-op’s re-launched range with new products and packaging to offer customers more Food-to-go options this summer.

Part of the summer 2022 range, Nisa’s central distribution have provided Nisa retailers with a selection of new sandwiches and salads inspired by a wide range of global flavours.

The range includes “nutritious wraps, subs and tasty pasta salad pots” as well as a few “indulgent sweet treats”.

To ensure the range was in line with Co-op’s sustainability goals, the amount of packaging on its food-to-go products have been significantly reduced and all single-use plastic cutlery have been replaced with wooden sporks.

“With more people out and about now, there is a greater demand for food to go so it is perfect timing for the launch of the all-new Co-op range,” Co-op wholesale category lead Jonny Lambert said.

“And the relaunch of the packaging design also comes just in time for summer, with a new vibrant and eco-friendly design that’s perfect for the sunshine season and attractive for the consumer.”

The news comes after Co-op’s Food-To range recently won Convenience Retailer of the Year Award at the Sandwich and Food to Go Industry Awards (The Sammies) for the eighth consecutive year.

Lambert added: “Food-to-Go remains a key mission for the convenience market and with this new range available to Nisa partners we believe it places them in a great position to drive more sales in their stores this summer,.”
