Lidl has renewed its partnership with leading active lifestyle brand, Tough Mudder.
The deal will see the discounter continue to encourage an active lifestyle for kids around the UK by presenting the Lidl Mudder challenge – a customised course which will be available at ten different Tough Mudder events in 2022.
The Lidl Mudder challenge is a one-mile obstacle course designed to give kids aged 5 – 12 the chance to work as a team. There are two-course length options, named Mini and Mighty.
Both Lidl and Tough Mudder continue to support the NSPCC Childline Service, with both parties encouraging donations and fundraising for the charity.

“The customised kid’s event coming to so many sites epitomises what we’re about at Tough Mudder – Lidl’s commitment in supporting an active nation that encourages the development of teamwork at a young age is fantastic to see,” Tough Mudder’s managing director Matthew Brooke said.
The news comes after Lidl was named the UK’s cheapest supermarket for the third month in a row, according to consumer experts ‘Which?’.
The discount retailer narrowly beat its rival Aldi, with a basket price of £26.83 for 21 items of grocers. For the equivalent items, Aldi’s average basket price came in at £27.14.
