Iceland is selling veg for just 1p for the next few days in a bid to help cost-conscious shoppers enjoy Easter for a fraction of the price this year.
All frozen and fresh vegetables which are normally sold by the supermarket for £1 or less will be on sale for just 1p. More than 40 vegetable products will be available across both fresh and frozen lines.
To take advantage of the offer, which runs until Thursday, all customers need to do is add the pack vegetables to their online basket and enter the code ‘ICE1VEG’ at the checkout.
Iceland said all fresh vegetables included in the offer will have ‘best before’ dates that fall after Easter Sunday to ensure they’re fresh for the holiday weekend.

“Our 1p vegetable sale was so popular at Christmas, especially when so many other supermarkets hike up the prices of their roast ingredients, that we decided this was a no-brainer to run it again this Easter,” said Iceland’s managing director, Richard Walker.
“If we can help people who are feeling the pinch right now to save a few vital pennies while enjoying the same amazing quality of vegetables, then we’ll have done our job of being the supermarket that shoppers can rely on.”
The supermarket has dropped the price of its vegetables previously, reducing them to just to 1p last Christmas.
