Deliveroo has opened a new flagship office in central Manchester as it continues to expand its grocery offering across the city.
The newly expanded office – which will act as the national hub for the delivery company‘s support team for small and independent businesses – is now the largest Deliveroo base outside of London, reflecting Deliveroo’s commitment to Manchester, where the company now employs around 180 people.
Deliveroo has expanded its grocery offering across the city, with the number of grocery sites available on the app up almost four-fold since January 2020.
To complement the company’s existing on-demand grocery service and enhance the customer experience, Deliveroo launched its first ‘Deliveroo Hop’ delivery-only store in Manchester earlier this month in partnership with Morrisons, bringing groceries to customers’ doors in as little as 10 minutes.

Acting as the national hub for the business’ small and medium businesses (SMB) team, the Manchester office will be able to focus on supporting the growth of all Deliveroo’s small and independent partners across the UK and Ireland.
“We are really proud to open a new flagship office in Manchester, a key market for Deliveroo with our amazing restaurant and grocery partners, delivery-only Editions and Deliveroo Hop service all available to consumers,” said Deliveroo’s chief business officer UK&I, Carlo Mocci.
“The new office will allow us to invest in support for our small and independent restaurant partners both in Manchester and across the whole of the UK and Ireland, helping them to grow their businesses and reach new consumers.”
