Tims Dairy launches premium yoghurt for Platinum Jubilee

Yoghurt brand, Tims Dairy has partnered with Tiptree jam owner Wilkin & Sons to create a new limited edition yoghurt to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Strawberry Royale Greek-style yoghurt will be launched in Waitrose and Ocado in March this year.

With the “classic summer flavours” of Tiptree’s Strawberry with Champagne Conserve and Tims Dairy’s Greek Style yoghurt, the bio-life premium product hopes to serve a “celebratory treat”.

“This is a special moment for the entire country and Commonwealth, and to help us all celebrate in true style this spring and summer we have got together with Tiptree, whose products and business heritage and ethos we have long admired, to create a superb new indulgent Greek-style yoghurt,” Tims Dairy managing director Chris Timotheou said.

Last month, Waitrose was also named as one of the high-profile British brands which would be lending its support to the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, taking place on 5 June 2022.

The Platinum Jubilee Pageant is expected to bring a once-in-a-lifetime experience to millions of people to celebrate The Queen’s 70-year reign.

“We are thrilled that Tims Dairy chose to use our Strawberry with Champagne Conserve in their yoghurt to mark this very special occasion,” Wilkin & Sons joint managing director Scott Goodfellow added.

“It is a perfect pairing and we think it’s delicious! I look forward to enjoying pots of this special yoghurt with strawberries from our Tiptree farm.”

The yoghurt will be sold for £2.10 per 450g pot, in 100% recycled and recyclable PET pots produced from natural ingredients.
