Tesco has launched its final toy sale of the year, just in time for Christmas.

The Big 4 grocer has offered up to 50% off on selected toys from 13 December until 26 December – both in stores and online for Clubcard members.

The sale includes discounted toys from brands like Barbie, Paw Patrol, Star Wars and Nerf, alongside other major brands.

Toy themes include construction, action, dolls, creative, vehicles, pre-school, games and other outdoor toys.

“With less than two weeks left before the big day we know that many parents will still be looking for toy bargains for their kids,”  Tesco’s category manager for toys, nursery and sport Anne Borrett said.

“The good news is that we have some great toy offers in our stores, including all the top brands such as Lego, Harry Potter, Barbie, Nerf and Fisher-Price with something for kids of all ages.”

This news comes after Sainsbury’s was forced to delay its toy promotion by a week due to supply chain issues, which caused a stock shortage in November.

The retailer also claimed uncertainty in international shipping times from Asia to the UK were responsible for the delay in its annual Christmas toy promotion.
