Morrisons has unveiled its new service designed to help customers prepare for Christmas.

The Big 4 grocer launched its new collection service, allowing customers to book a collection between December 21 and December 24, after placing their Christmas food shop online.

Morrisons’ Christmas Food to Order service will become available at 464 stores nationwide.

With 134 items available to purchase, some of the festive favourites include turkeys, party food, wine and desserts.

It also features a full vegan range, alongside gluten-free products.

Customers can book their slots on the website or in-store via Morrisons customer services points.

To use the service a small deposit is required, with the remaining balance having to be paid when collecting the items.

Morrisons says that its chefs and food makers have spent a year “crafting the perfect Christmas range”.

“We know how early some of our customers like to plan for Christmas and our festive Food to Order service is going to help them do just that,” Morrison buying manager, Hannah Kilburn said.

“Customers will be able to find everything they need from feasts to feed the family, intimate dinners with a loved one or parties with friends.”
