Goodfella’s is set to launch a new range of mini-stonebaked pizzas across the UK.
The company will be releasing two flavours of its selection, featuring four cheese and pepperoni options.
The products will be available in Asda from October 18 for an RRP of £2.50 per pack of four pizzas, with a wider rollout to retailers scheduled for later this year.
According to the company, the mini-pizzas measure five inches and are ready to eat in 11 minutes.
The manufacturer said that its survey of customers revealed that 58 per cent responded with interest to the new release due to the products being “enjoyable to eat but also new and exciting to the category.”

The release comes as the producer reports that it has seen its sales spike by 84.1 per cent over the past year, with its Pizza Pockets range growing its market share up to 7.4 per cent.
It added that the increase in work-from-home lunches presented an opportunity for it to “capitalise on this shopper demand.”
“Over the last year, we’ve seen a massive opportunity for the frozen pizza category to develop as shoppers demand products that deliver on taste, but which can also be easily prepared as a lunchtime meal,” Goodfella’s senior brand manager Nicola Bates said.
“As more shoppers work from home, the number of at-home lunch occasions have risen to just over 13 billion.
“As a result, consumers have turned to the frozen pizza category.
“We’re confident the new Mini Stonebaked Pizzas will go down well with shoppers and raise the bar for other mini pizzas in the market.”
