Sainsbury’s has opened the doors to its new branch in Countesswells, Aberdeen.
The store will be open seven days a week from 7am-11pm and will offer a range of fresh food, fruit and vegetables as well as own-brand products and household goods.
An instore self-service Costa machine will also be available for use.
The new store is part of Countesswells’ ongoing community development, with the area adding 600 new homes.

“The store looks fantastic and we’re sure customers will love the product ranges on offer. My team has worked hard to get the store ready and we’re now really looking forward to welcoming and serving the people of Countesswells,” Countesswells local store manager Annette Henderson said.
Sainsbury’s property director Patrick Dunne added “I’m delighted that Sainsbury’s is the first retailer to become part of the exciting new community in Countesswells.
“Our passion for great quality food, convenience, value and excellent service makes us a natural fit for the town and we’re very pleased to be welcoming our new Local into Sainsbury’s long established Scottish estate which now has over 130 stores and over 9000 colleagues.”
