Healthy fast food company Leon has launched its new range at Big 4 grocer Sainsbury’s.
The “plant-rich” variety features a selection of three soups and three salads ready to eat, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available for customers.
The selection will be available at Sainsbury’s stores from September 22.
According to the company, the single-serve lunches are inspired by its restaurant menus and are “perfect for convenient, plant-rich, work from home meals.”
The launch features soups including Roasted Tomato and Harissa, British Pea & Pesto and Curried Coconut & Sweet Potato Rainbow Soup, each sold at an RRP of £2.25 per 380g.
The producer claims that its soups are high in fibre and provide two of the consumer’s five-a-day servings of vegetables.
It also mentions that its soups are vegan and gluten-free.
Its salad varieties feature two vegetarian options, with its Brazilian Black Bean Salad and its Greens & Grains Salad retailing at an RRP of £3.50 per 250g, and its vegan Kale Caesar Pasta Salad available for an RRP of £3.50 per 250g.
The fast-food franchise is also offering customers 30p off from the purchase price of its range at select Sainsbury’s stores until October 12.
