Leading Spar wholesaler in Scotland, CJ Lang and Son has appointed Robbie Moore as head of trading.
Moore joins from Morrisons, where he held the position of wholesale buying manager.
He succeeds current trading director Richard Collins, who leaves the company on October 1 and will report to CEO Colin Mclean.
In his position at the Big 4 grocer, he was involved in heading up Core Grocery for Morrisons Wholesale and the M Daily franchise.

Prior to Morrisons, Moore held senior positions of head of commercial, category manager and buying assistant at Costcutter.
In his new role, Moore will ensure that budgeted wholesale trading for CJ Lang is maintained and developed in terms of volume, value and margins.
He will also identify sales opportunities, promote maximum loyalty, and ensure approved store development activities deliver added value, according to the wholesaler.
“I am excited to take this role with CJ Lang,” Moore said.
“Operationally the trading team is in a very strong position and I look forward to building on its success.”
McLean added: “We’re delighted to see Robbie joining our Spar Scotland exec team where he will actively provide advice and input to the business and our members.
“He will be a great addition encouraging and supporting the Spar brand and standards of operation in Spar retail stores.”
