Amacor buys second convenience store in two weeks

Nisa partner Amacor has added a 14th convenience store to its portfolio, marking its second acquisition in under two weeks.

Its latest purchase is a former Co-op located on Duckworth Lane, Bradford, which will be given a “refresh” and new product ranges before opening.

“Duckworth Lane is a great community store,” said Amacor managing director Martin Corban.

“We look forward to delivering a high quality offering and service to its loyal customer base.”

Amacor, a Nisa key account, has dramatically increased the pace of its acquisitions in the past month.

Before buying a Hebden Bridge store in May, which Corban hailed as a “great addition to our portfolio”, its most recent purchase was a former Sainsbury’s in Blackpool last December.

The company plans to expand its portfolio to twenty stores by the end of the year.
