Japan Tobacco International (JTI) has introduced a new member to its Sterling range with the launch of its Sterling Rolling Tobacco Essential 30g.

The new product will cost £12.35 and will not include filters or papers, making it the lowest priced product in the Sterling Rolling range for a less-for-less alternative.

According to the company, the product comes in a paper insert pouch packaging containing less aluminum, with the blend itself generating less leaf waste compared to other RYP brands.

“The new Essential format aims to offer a great value tobacco option for customers, whilst staying true to Sterling’s reputable quality. It also offers our first Sterling Rolling product with a whole leaf blend, where less leaf waste is generated in its manufacture,” JTI UK head of marketing Stephane Berset said.

“We’re confident that Sterling Rolling Tobacco Essential will become a strong driver for future Sterling Rolling growth, whilst providing retailers with an even more competitive product for existing adult smokers, driving incremental sales.”
