Baileys has announced that it is expanding its chocolate ranges ahead of the Christmas season, with the launch of it’s new Chocolate Nut Mix.
According to the leading Irish chocolatier, the Baileys Chocolate Nut Mix combines roasted almonds coated in Baileys Chocolate, with a mix of caramelised hazelnuts, cashews, almonds and peanuts, and salted caramel popcorn.
It is currently available from Tesco for £3.50, where the brand claims it will bring a ‘unique flavour mix’ to the nut category.
The indulgent treat from Baileys Chocolate supports the demand for the category during the festive period, with supporting data showing that there is usually a 35% uplift in sales of nuts in the 12-week run-up to Christmas.
The premium Nut Mix also comes in a recyclable and resealable bag as Baileys Chocolate continues its journey towards reducing plastic in its packaging, and providing more sustainable products for their consumers.
Furthermore, Baileys is releasing more items in its Christmas collection this year, such as the newly updated Christmas Tree Tin for £10 – filled with Baileys Original Chocolate Truffles – and Baileys Chocolate Collection.
The news comes as a variety of UK retailers – such as Waitrose and M&S – debut their new Christmas adverts featuring a few familiar faces.

Last month it was revealed that total spending over the six weeks leading up to Christmas is set to hit over £84.9bn, as high inflation looks to boost retail sales over the festive period.
Baileys chocolate’s marketing manager, Alison Robson said: “We are proud to launch the Baileys Chocolate Nut Mix ahead of the festive period. Baileys is synonymous with Christmas and is a popular adult treat at that time of year.
“We have seen indulgent nut mixes increase in popularity at Christmas and adding a touch of Baileys to the mix will attract new shoppers and give loyal fans an exciting new way to enjoy the indulgence of Baileys chocolate.”
