Industry charity, GroceryAid has announced its partnership with advice service, Business Debtline in a bid to support independent retailers and business owners.
The collaboration will be offering tips and tailored advice to businesses struggling during the cost-of-living crisis.
The initiative follows an increased demand of independent retailers looking for guidance and reaching out to GroceryAid for additional support.

According to the charity, the issues affecting these businesses most include rates, managing finances and facing unpaid invoices and debt.
“We know dealing with debt can be incredibly overwhelming, and with the current cost of living crisis having a knock-on effect for both small businesses’ profits and their owners, we’re very pleased to announce our new partnership providing businesses with the support they need to thrive and maintain peace of mind,” GroceryAid Welfare director, Mandi Leonard said.
This news follows the charity’s partnership with grocery delivery service, Jisp in April which looks to raise up to £12,000 in donations for GroceryAid by the end of this year and increase awareness of its free welfare services.
