Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) posted strong third quarter results, with revenue increasing by 6.5 per cent to approximately £4.8bn.

The company’s revenue in Europe went up by 5.8 per cent to around £3.6bn, driven by positive results from the FIFA Word Cup marketing and increased summer weather.

There was a solid volume growth in Europe across Coca-Cola’s portfolio of brands, including Coke Original Taste, Zero and Diet.

During the nine months to date, CCEP’s revenue grew by 5.1 per cent to approximately £13.7bn.

Europe’s volume increased by 2.3 per cent, boosted by innovation across the brands and in-market execution as a standout performance in Great Britain.

The revenue in Great Britain increased by 9.3 per cent to approximately £837m, with a solid performance for the energy and sports drinks brands including Monster and Powerade.

There was a high single-digit volume in Monster in Great Britain, which was boosted by distribution gains and an NPD push.

Additionally, there was solid volume growth in Powerade, which was driven by new packs, flavour extensions and marketing activations, according to the business.

Moving forward, CCEP maintained its overall guidance and forecasted an operating growth of 7 per cent and a revenue increase of between 3 per cent and 4 per cent.

Damian Gammell, CEO of CCEP said: “We delivered a strong third quarter, building on our first-half performance and remaining focused on our strategic priorities. Revenue growth was well balanced, with higher volumes and solid revenue per case across our markets in the home and away-from-home channels.

“The consumer environment remains challenging, and the geopolitical situation has impacted operating costs; however, our business remains resilient.

“The strength of our brands, disciplined approach to pricing and promotions across our broad pack offering, tight control of discretionary spending and continued productivity gains keep us on track to deliver our unchanged full-year guidance.”
