PepsiCo recalls Doritos Chilli Heatwave over undeclared ingredients
PepsiCo has recalled selected packs of Doritos Chilli Heatwave after some were found to contain milk that was not listed in the ingredients.
The recall affected 180g and 140g packs carrying the batch codes GBC 209 184C and GBC 209 185C, with a best-before date of December 5 2026.
PepsiCo said some packs may have been filled with the wrong product and could contain Tangy Cheese seasoning, which includes milk.
Although the affected products carried precautionary allergen labelling for milk, the allergen was not included in the ingredients list. This meant the snacks posed a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
Customers with a milk allergy or intolerance were advised not to eat the affected product and to return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
Details were checked against the original Food Manufacture report.
