Soft drinks brand Dash has launched its first-ever nationwide on-pack promotion which gives shoppers the chance to win a Mini Cooper alongside a range of prizes.

Running throughout July and August, the campaign is designed to raise awareness around Dash’s growing 500ml range and encourage shoppers to choose the drink as part of their meal deal over the summer months.

Customers can participate in the giveaway by purchasing a Big Dash (500ml can) and unveiling the competition sticker to reveal a unique code and entering it through the website.

Each of the entries automatically places shoppers into the grand prize draw to win an electric Mini Cooper while also having the chance to win other prizes such as coupons, tote bags and merchandise bundles.

Jack Scott, founder and CMO at Dash, said: “We created the range for the meal deal occasion, where shoppers want more liquid without compromising on great ingredients or taste, and the response has exceeded our expectations.

“This competition gives consumers another great reason to pick up a Big Dash this summer. Winning a Mini is a brilliant headline prize, but with thousands of instant wins available, we’re making every purchase more exciting while getting more cans into more hands.

“It’s all about driving trial, increasing visibility at the shelf and giving retailers another reason to get behind Big Dash during the busiest period of the year.”

This competition is part of Dash’s wider summer advertisement activity, which builds on its The Drink That Has It All platform, which is the brand’s largest-ever marketing campaign.

The media campaign spans across TV, radio, digital and out-of-home and is expected to deliver over 200m impacts during July, which will be supported by extensive in-store activation across key retail partners.

Additionally, the brand is collaborating with social media creators MC & Florrie to promote the competition across social media and encourage people to get involved.
