Iceland Foods has announced free same-day delivery for orders over £40 between Monday 13 April and Thursday 16 April.

The promotion aims to help shoppers save when booking a home delivery slot and add more convenience, with the service running until 9pm everyday.

The retailer is running this promotion after the Easter break to help shoppers deal with the cost-of-living crisis as fuel and energy prices rise.

Richard Walker, executive chair of Iceland, said: “We know that customers are continuing to feel the pinch, especially after the school holidays and as uncertainty from the Middle East continues.

“We’re proud to introduce this promotion for all our customers, helping families stock up on the essentials.”

The same-day delivery slots will be available across the full range of Iceland and The Food Warehouse products, which includes the Dough Company pizza range.

Customers will be able to book a slot through the retailer’s website.

This comes after Iceland expanded its grocery partnership with online retailer Amazon to deliver to cities including Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Nottingham earlier this year.

The expansion in February marked the first time customers could buy products from Iceland in Northern Ireland.
