Nestlé Cereals brings Nesquik Strawberry to cereal aisle in UK first
Nestlé Cereals is extending the Nesquik brand into a new part of the breakfast fixture with the launch of a strawberry-flavoured cereal in the UK and Ireland.
The product will land first in Morrisons and Sainsbury’s this month before a wider rollout, marking the first time the Nesquik Strawberry flavour has been launched as a cereal in the UK since the brand debuted here in 1957.
The launch gives Nestlé another route to tap into nostalgia-led demand, while also leaning on the kind of playful product experience that can help breakfast brands stand out on shelf. In this case, the cereal is designed to turn milk pink, echoing the brand’s long-established milkshake offer.
Nestlé is positioning the new line as a family breakfast option, with wholegrain as the main ingredient. The cereal is also high in fibre and fortified with seven vitamins and iron, with no artificial colours or flavours.
Sarah Fordy, head of marketing for Nestlé Cereals UK, said the launch was intended to broaden breakfast choice while staying true to the brand’s more playful identity.
She said: “We’re thrilled to introduce this much loved Nesquik flavour to cereal for the very first time, building on more than 60 years of Nesquik Strawberry heritage in the UK.
“For families, it brings a new breakfast choice made with whole grains, high in fibre, and enriched with seven vitamins plus iron, all with the fun twist of turning your milk pink.”
