Waitrose launches Daily Dose apple juice
Waitrose has partnered with juice company Daily Dose to launch a limited-edition apple juice which is made using surplus fruit from its farm.
The Waitrose farm located in Leckford Estate approached Daily Dose to create an apple juice from the additional crops which were affected by hot weather and lack of rain.

The limited-edition bottle will be sold across stores in the UK from 17 December in a 900 ml bottle for £3.50.
The move reinstates the supermarket retailer’s commitment to cutting down on food waste in its operations, previously donating 25m surplus meals earlier this year.
George Hughes-Davies, founder of Daily Dose, said: “The Leckford Estate is one of the most beautiful and sustainably run farms in the country, so to be invited in to help make use of their apples was an honour.
“This juice is exactly what Daily Dose stands for, repurposing incredible British produce and turning it into something delicious. We’re thrilled to bring this limited-edition bottle to Waitrose shoppers just in time for Christmas.”
Additionally, this is part of Waitrose’s pledge to back British farmers, with Leckford Farm operating under the John Lewis Partnership for over 90 years.
