Sainsbury’s has announced a price slash for its festive feast for six people, reducing the cost to under £2.30 per person with its loyalty card.

Shoppers will be able to purchase a fresh standard chicken or turkey for £3/kg with Nectar Prices between 16 and 24 December.

Additionally, the retailer is selling classic vegetable trimmings for 15p each for shoppers using a loyalty card.

Rhian Bartlett, chief commercial and sustainability officer at Sainsbury’s said: “This year, we’ve put together unmissable deals designed to make hosting easy and affordable. Through Nectar Prices and Aldi Price Match, we’re providing easy ways for everyone to save.”

Additionally, customers can buy a range of roast essentials that are part of the Aldi Price Match program, including by Sainsbury’s Sage & Onion Stuffing Mix 170g for 45p and by Sainsbury’s Gravy Granules for Meat 170g for 52p.
