Unilever reportedly looking to offload Marmite, Colman’s and Bovril
Unilever is reportedly considering the sales of Marmite, Colman’s and Bovril, as the FMCG giant streamlines its operations to focus on higher-performing businesses.
According to a report from Reuters, three sources close to the matter confirmed the business is considering offloading the brands. All three brands have been under the FMCG giant’s portfolio for at least 20 years.
The news comes after the consumer goods giant sold The Vegetarian Butcher to the Netherlands in March and was reportedly looking to offload struggling healthy snack brand Graze.
Recently, Unilever sold personal care and beauty brand Kate Sommerville to Rare Beauty Brands as it reassesses its portfolio of brands as part of the new business strategy.
