Morrisons has partnered with the NHS to display cancer advice on its private-label range of bath and shower products.

The line of shower and bath products will show messages including “Be body aware” and “Know the signs of cancer”, which encourages shoppers to know what is normal for their body and seek healthcare if something is not right.

This marks the first supermarket retailer to add cancer awareness messages on bath and shower products as part of an NHS drive to help people identify symptoms earlier and receive checkups.

Corporate affairs director at Morrisons, David Scott, said: “We are proud to be partnering with the NHS again to raise awareness of the symptoms of cancer through the new body awareness messages on our own-brand bath and shower products.

“It is a vital message, and we believe in the importance of helping the NHS reach as many customers as possible to encourage them to get checked and be body aware.”

The products will be available at Morrisons stores nationwide and online in May, including products such as Muscle Soothe Sea Minerals & Sage Extracts Bath Soak and Lavender & Water Lily Herbal Bath.

Some of the advice being offered to shoppers includes looking out for lumps, swelling, skin changes and unexplained bruising.

This partnership builds on a successful campaign in 2023 where Morrisons collaborated with the NHS to include breast and testicular cancer advice on Nutmeg-branded underwear, which encouraged shoppers to contact their GP practice if they spotted any symptoms.
