Asda offering £1 meal for kids over Easter
Asda is offering its Kids Eat for £1 café meal deal for shoppers over the Easter school holidays to help parents reduce costs during the break.
The initiative is available throughout the year at over 205 Asda cafés across the UK, which gives children under 16 a hot or cold meal for £1.
Asda’s menu options include pesto Penna Pasta, Chicken Nuggets, Fish Fingers, Margherita pizza and a free drink.
Additionally, there is a cold option pick-and-mix meal which offers a sandwich, a drink, a piece of fruit and a snack.

Asda has also upgraded the menu to add new food items such as a jelly pot and a crisps alternative.
Jordan Cummings, Asda’s cafe buying manager said: “School holidays can put extra pressure on family budgets, so we’re reminding customers that our Kids Eat for £1 meal deal is on throughout the Easter break.
“Since launching the initiative in 2022, we’ve served more than seven million meals to children in our cafés, helping families enjoy an affordable option when they’re out and about. With no minimum spend required, it’s just one of the ways we’re supporting families and communities this Easter.”
The supermarket retailer first launched the discounted meal deal in June 2022 to help families access affordable meals during school holidays.
Asda has served over 7m £1 meals to children in its café, and the lower-priced meals were rolled out to be available all year round in 2023.
