Healthy soft drink brand Dash has announced a partnership with Sainsbury’s to support charity initiative Comic Relief through the Nourish the Nation programme.

The brand plans to donate 50p from every Dash Raspberry multipack sold at Sainsbury’s to the charity scheme over the next two months.

Sainsbury’s programme raises funds to help tackle food poverty and improve access to healthy food for communities nationwide.

The retailer aims to offer school children (up to Year 11) improved access to summer holiday activities and food schemes, as part of a collaboration with Comic Relief.

Jack Scott, Dash co-founder, said: “At Dash, we’re on a mission to do drinks differently, always thinking about the bigger picture and how we can create positive change for both people and the planet.

“Which is why we’re proud to be partnering with Sainsbury’s to support Comic Relief through their Nourish the Nation programme.

“Being part of a campaign focused on improving access to nutritious, sustainable food for communities that need it most is something we care deeply about.”

Last year, in July, the retailer achieved a milestone of donating over 1m meals to children in need with its Nourish the Nation programme.
