US soda brand Poppi is set to launch in the UK on 4 March 2026 at Tesco stores nationwide and at Pret a Manger from 5 March onwards.

The brand was founded in 2015 by Allison and Stephen Ellsworth and aims to offer a healthier alternative for soft drinks.

The drink combines fruit juice and apple cider vinegar to create a low-calorie soda with no more than five grams of sugar per serving.

Poppi will be debuting in five different flavours, including Strawberry Lemon, Raspberry Rose, Lemon Lime, Wild Berry and Orange.

Natalia Fillipociants, GM of Europe International Beverages, PepsiCo said: ‘’We’re proud to bring Poppi’s vibrant, feel-good approach to the UK.’ British consumers are increasingly looking for drinks that are balanced, modern and genuinely enjoyable every day.

“With bold fruity flavours and eye-catching design, Poppi delivers full-flavour fizz made with ingredients that the consumer will absolutely love!”

The brand was acquired by global drinks manufacturer PepsiCo in a £1.5bn deal last year in a move that aimed to grow its overall portfolio offering.

The group’s chairman and CEO Ramon Laguarta said the deal came as “more than ever, consumers are looking for convenient and great-tasting options that fit their lifestyles and respond to their growing interest in health and wellness”.

This launch comes as the healthy soft drink category is gaining traction, with Pepsi recently launching its first prebiotic cola.
