Aldi unveils frozen chocolate-covered fruit selection
Aldi is set to launch a new frozen chocolate-coated fruit in two flavours across its stores from 2 March.
The Specially Selected Chocolate Coated Strawberries and Chocolate Coated Raspberries will be available for £3.49 each in 200g pack formats.
This launch comes as the demand for chocolate-covered frozen fruit has grown online, with popular brands such as Trü Frü receiving major social media traction with millions of views on TikTok.
The coated strawberries have a white and milk-layered chocolate shell with a chilled strawberry in the middle.
Aldi’s own-brand chocolate coated Raspberries offer a dark chocolate-coated raspberry sweet treat.

According to the discount retailer, the new chilled items cost approximately 43% less than popular market competitors.
The move aims to deliver a product which follows viral trends at an affordable range for shoppers.
This launch follows Aldi introducing an expanded selection of items as part of its Easter range last month.
The supermarket is bringing back its Chocolate Mini Eggs, which are £1.15 per 74g with three flavours: zesty orange, cool mint and velvety caramel. The complete range is set to rollout across stores in the upcoming weeks.
