Myprotein debuts range with Greencore

Sports nutrition brand Myprotein has announced a partnership with convenience manufacturer Greencore to produce a range of branded food on-the-go items.

The collaboration will see the brand introduce protein-enriched salads and wraps, which will launch in Sainsbury’s supermarkets and convenience stores.

This move is part of Myprotein’s business strategy to significantly expand the brand’s presence across offline retail channels and build on its licensing agreements with retail partners.

The business said it plans to expand into other formats in the future, aiming to provide convenient options that align with shoppers’ fitness goals.

Neil Mistry, CEO of THG Nutrition, said: “This collaboration is another step in Myprotein’s global leadership across sports nutrition, adding Greencore’s expertise in creating and distributing fresh, on-the-go food to our growing list of partners.

“This partnership not only widens the reach of the Myprotein brand offering, but it also brings further significant penetration into offline channels.”

Myprotein’s current portfolio includes powders, dairy and desserts, bars and snacks and ready-to-drink with licensing agreements at major category partners including Müller, Iceland and Jimmy’s Coffee.
