Tesco partners with Just Eat to power Whoosh, Booker and One Stop
Just Eat Go has signed a major new partnership with Tesco to support the expansion of its rapid delivery service, Tesco Whoosh, across the UK.
The deal will see Just Eat Go provide delivery support not only for Tesco Whoosh but also across convenience formats including One Stop and Booker’s Premier and other symbol brands.
Just Eat Go commercial director Tom Baxter said the collaboration highlighted the flexibility of the company’s fulfilment network.
“Our new partnership with Tesco demonstrates the diverse range of retailers who are utilising our service, from community retailers such as One Stop, to big brand grocers including Tesco Whoosh,” he said.

“With Just Eat Go we empower our partners to respond even more quickly to the rising demand for rapid fulfilment.”
The partnership marks another significant step in Just Eat Go’s strategy to extend its logistics capabilities beyond takeaway food, helping retailers meet growing consumer expectations for superfast grocery delivery, particularly ahead of the busy Christmas trading period.
Earlier this year, Just Eat launched its new delivery-as-a-service platform, Jet Go, across the UK, with Co-op confirmed as its first official launch partner.
However, in September Just Eat Takeaway (JET) announced plans to cut around 450 roles across multiple countries and functions after a review of its business strategy.
The decision came a mere month after global investment group Prosus secured approval from the European Commission to acquire delivery platform Just Eat Takeaway (JET).
