Bol Foods makes international debut with 700-store Dutch rollout
Bol Foods has made its first move into international markets with the launch of its Power Shakes range across more than 700 Albert Heijn stores in the Netherlands.
The listing marks a major milestone for the UK brand, known for its plant-powered meals and complete nutrition products made from whole-food ingredients designed to have no artificial additives, emulsifiers or added sugars.
The company says the Dutch launch reflects growing demand for clean, plant-based and functional foods, aligning with the country’s protein transition target, which aims for 60% of protein consumption to come from plant-based sources by 2030.
“The Netherlands is ahead of the curve when it comes to functional innovation,” said Bol founder and CEO Paul Brown.
