Dike & Son enters five-year contract with Co-op wholesale

Family-owned retailer Dike & Son has signed a five-year supply agreement with Co-op Wholesale.

Andy Dike, managing director at Dike & Son, said: “We’re delighted to extend our relationship with Co-op Wholesale. We’ve worked together for many years, and this new long-term agreement reflects our shared commitment to quality, service, and community.

“With ongoing investments in technology and sustainability, we’re excited about what the next five years will bring for our business and our customers.”

Some recent changes at Dike & Son, which is based in North Dorset, include improving sustainability practices by revamping its refrigeration to reduce energy use as well as plans to improve electric vehicle charging bays.

The retailer also plans to roll out Electronic Shelf Edge Labels to better store efficiency and availability tracking.
