Little Moons is expanding its frozen and chilled snacking range with the launch of a new Brown Butter Caramel flavour, set to land in Sainsbury’s stores.

Little Moons is expanding its frozen and chilled snacking range with the launch of a new Brown Butter Caramel flavour, set to land in Sainsbury’s stores.

Available from 14 July for RRP £5.00, the new flavour combines caramel gelato with chocolate-covered caramel pieces, wrapped in the frozen snack brand’s signature soft mochi dough.

The new launch marks the latest step in Little Moons’ bid to lead what it calls a “snacking revolution” in the freezer and chilled aisles.

Marketing director Ross Farquhar said the launch was designed to “blend rich buttery caramel, with our signature creamy gelato ice cream, for a smooth and nutty snack.”

He added: “At Little Moons, we’re dedicated to developing innovative flavour combinations that excite our loyal fans, and attract new ones”

“Little Moons continues to pioneer the frozen and chilled snacking category, making it a destination for great tasting snacks and transforming freezer visits into moments of discovery and delight.”

The launch comes alongside a full brand refresh for Little Moons, including a new logo and updated packaging aimed at increasing shelf standout and building on the brand’s positioning as a global snacking player.

The rebrand will roll out alongside a new multichannel marketing campaign dubbed A Little Something, spanning TikTok, social media, digital and outdoor channels.

The company said the campaign was focused on highlighting the small snacking moments mochi can provide, reinforcing its place in shoppers’ baskets as a regular treat rather than just a novelty.

Little Moons added the Brown Butter Caramel flavour is gluten-free and free from artificial flavourings, colourings, and preservatives, with each piece containing just 67 calories. After its Sainsbury’s debut, the flavour is set to roll out nationwide from September.
