Unilever and Asda join forces for family-focused sports campaign
Asda and Unilever have teamed up with the Festival of Sport to launch a new campaign aimed at getting families more active this summer.
Running until 18 June, the campaign gives shoppers a chance to win 200 family tickets to the Festival of Sport event, which takes place from 2-4 August at Packington Estate in Warwickshire.
The Festival of Sport was started by former England rugby stars Will Greenwood and Austin Healey, and offers children a chance to try new sports, learn new skills and have fun.
The campaign also includes 50,000 free sports lessons for children, which will be available across the UK between 12 June and 16 July.

“Unilever and Asda share a deep commitment to supporting families and communities across the UK,” said Unilever customer director for Asda Jo Taylor.
“Festival of Sport is a fantastic opportunity to encourage active lifestyles, and we are proud to partner with Asda to bring this exciting event to life to help families enjoy a fun-filled day of sport and healthy activity.”
Asda chief commercial officer Kris Comerford added: “We’re delighted to partner with Unilever and Festival of Sport to bring this opportunity to our customers.
“Supporting families and promoting healthier lifestyles is central to what we do, and this campaign helps us provide children with access to activities that inspire confidence, encourage physical activity, and create lasting memories.”
Research from Sport England shows that 30% of children are active for less than 30 minutes a day, and many families are cutting back on activities due to rising costs.
