Morrisons has debuted new loyalty scheme stamps which customers can now swap for free products.

From today (19 February) shoppers at the supermarket will be able to earn one More Card stamp for every £10 they spend.

These stamps can then be exchanged for products such as Pryex storage and cooking dishes, which are understood to need a minimum of 30 staps. Alternatively, customers will be able to use 15 stamps to get £10 off some items.

Morrisons shoppers can keep track of how many stamps they have earned through the scheme, which is currently running until June, by checking their More Card app or store receipt.

Morrisons loyalty director Kate Lavery told the Mirror: “More Card Prices and Points are now well loved and well understood by our customers so we started to think: what more can we offer More Card customers?

”We have come up with a new bonus layer – where in addition to the usual points and rewards, customers are awarded stamps which can be collected and redeemed for free high quality products. The premium Pyrex range is not only practical but innovative, which helps to keep food fresher for longer.”

The new initiative follows fellow supermarkets similarly experimenting with their own loyalty schemes in recent months. Last June, Tesco rolled out Clubcard Coupons in in receipt form, containing personalised promotions and discounters for customers.
