Aldi is expanding its partnership with parcel locker provider InPost to over 260 stores, allowing shoppers to easily collect and return online orders.

The discounter, which first trialled the lockers at 22 stores across the country back in 2023, said it received “positive feedback” from customers on how “convenient” the service is.

Aldi UK communications director Richard Thornton said: “By adding lockers at more locations nationwide, customers can now collect or return parcels seamlessly while picking up their shopping at Aldi.”

InPost UK chief executive Neil Kuschel added: “Our partnership with Aldi to expand the number of lockers nationwide reflects our shared commitment to providing quick, easy and accessible parcel collection and returns for shoppers across the UK.

“We’re excited to see how this collaboration will enhance the shopping experience, reduce the cost and continue to meet the growing consumer demand for secure, sustainable, and seamless parcel solutions.”

It comes as Co-op has made a similar move by partnering with parcel locker provider Yeep! to bring further convenience to its stores.

Yeep! parcel lockers will be installed at 30 of the retailer’s sites, designed to meet the evolving needs of busy shoppers and continued growth in consumer demand for safe, secure and convenient parcel lockers.
