Tesco has launched a new ‘Taste Discoveries’ range featuring 16 easy-to-prepare dishes, in a bid to showcase the culinary heritage of Japan and Korea.

The supermarket’s meals for one include options such as Teriyaki Chicken with Udon Noodles, Sticky Aubergine & Ginger Donburi, and a Chicken & Shiitake Mushroom Bibimbap at £4.75 each or £4.25 with a Clubcard.

Meals for two, which are priced at £7 or £6 with a Clubcard, include Garlic & Ginger Pork Belly with Gochujang Glaze, Tataki Rump Steak with Ponzu Drizzle, Karaage Chicken with Gochujang Dip, and Katsu Vegetable Spring Rolls.

Other products include Steamed Bao, Prawn Bubble Dogs, Prawn Gyozas with Ponzu Dip, Fiery Fried Rice, and Edamame Pods with Togarashi Furikake.

It comes as Tesco Marketplace has introduced over 300,000 SKUs since its launch less than eight months ago.

The products available from third party sellers on the online marketplace has skyrocketed by 3,000% since early June 2024, The Grocer reported.
