Iceland launches ‘biggest ever’ deals event to kickstart New Year savings
Iceland Foods has launched its biggest-ever deals event to help ease the financial pressures of January for millions of families across the UK.
The ‘Mega Deals’ event features a variety of offers, including an expanded £1 or less range with over 1,000 products, alongside the return of deals such as 10 for £10, buy two get one free, and half-price must-haves both in-store and online.
It comes as research commissioned by the frozen food retailer found that January is the most financially difficult month of the year for half the population, with 56% of consumers adjusting their shopping habits to cut costs.
The £1 or less deal now features items such as Iceland’s Mozzarella Balls, Cheesy Potato Swirls, Mac ‘N’ Cheese Bites, and Breaded King Prawns, while customers can purchase 10 items for £10 on selected products including Birds Eye Chicken Fingers, Chicago Town Cheese & Tomato Subs, and Richmond Thick Pork Sausages between 3 and 20 January.

Iceland Foods executive chairman Richard Walker said: “We know families are looking to reduce spending in all aspects of everyday life and we know that we need to do our bit to help.
“January will be a struggle for millions, it’s no secret that bills are going to rise and it’s going to hit some families extremely hard. That’s why we’re stepping up, expanding our £1 or less lines and introducing hundreds of deals. We’re here to help this January.”
It comes as Iceland has kickstarted the New Year with a new exclusive health and protein range from Myprotein, catering to shoppers seeking a healthy alternative to a ready meal.
The new range features a series of dishes spanning Indian, Italian, Mexican and Chinese cuisines, with prices varying between £2 to £6.
