Wonky fruit-infused sparkling water brand Dash has been named as the ‘Official Soft Drink’ of the 2025 Dry January challenge by Alcohol Change UK.

Studies show that more than half of Dry January challenge participants who commit to going alcohol-free for the 31-day period are motivated by a desire to improve their health, with 40% looking to lose weight.

The sparkling water brand’s line-up of naturally flavoured soft drinks contain zero calories, zero sugar and zero artificial sweeteners.

Dash Water co-founder Jack Scott said: “The Dry January challenge isn’t about giving something up but realising the benefits that a month off alcohol brings to our health and wellbeing.

“As the Official Soft Drink of the 2025 Dry January challenge, we are excited to get behind this narrative and prove that embracing a healthy and alcohol-free lifestyle can be fun and flavourful.”

It comes as according to Dash’s research, 20% of its consumers already drink its beverages as an alternative to alcoholic drinks at social occasions.

Scott added: “Recent years have seen a huge increase in demand for natural and healthy alternatives, and our own customer data shows 70% choose Dash as a replacement for less healthy drinks. We hope Dash becomes a staple for those trying to be healthier this January and beyond.”

In October, Dash refreshed its sparkling drinks portfolio with the addition of a new cucumber and mint flavour, which replaced the brand’s existing version of its cucumber drink.
