5 new drinks: Monster, Radnor Splash, Yakult, Power Water, Starbucks
As Monster, Radnor Splash, Yakult, Power Water and Starbucks have all launched brand new products, we round up what they are and which UK supermarkets will be stocking them.
Monster

Energy drink giant Monster has launched two new products, adding to its zero sugar Ultra range with a Strawberry Dreams variant, and its Additions range with a new Nitro Cosmic Peach variant.
The new strawberry-flavoured Monster Ultra has no calories or sugar and will roll out nationwide from September.
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) GB associate director of portfolio development Helen Kerr said the new product will “tap into demand for the strawberry flavour and zero sugar energy drinks”.
Meanwhile, Nitro Cosmic Peach combines the Monster Energy blend with a light peach flavour and notes of citrus.
The 500ml price-marked single cans rolled out nationwide on 26 August.
CCEP GB vice-president commercial development Rob Yeomans said: “There’s still an opportunity for further growth in flavoured energy and the launch of Monster Cosmic Nitro Peach means we’re bringing even more options that are full of flavour.”
Radnor Splash

Flavoured water brand Radnor Splash has unveiled a new canned range in three flavours: Lemon and Lime, Apple and Raspberry, and Strawberry.
All three variants are sugar-free, made with sparkling water and natural flavourings, and are available in fully recyclable bottles.
Radnor Hills managing director Simon Knight said: “Radnor Splash is one of our best-performing brands and we’re excited to be offering consumers a new convenient canned version for them to quench their thirst on-the-go.
“We have launched our canned range with pre-listings in some of our biggest customers including Brakes and Bidfood, Youings, Universal Product Solutions and Dunsters Farm.”
Yakult

Yakult is adding to its range of fermented drinks with the launch of Yakult Plus Peach.
Available from 1 September via online supermarket Ocado, the new drink features a peach flavour and each bottle contains billions of friendly L.casei Shirota bacteria, which is scientifically proven to reach the gut alive and increase the bacteria in the gut.
The product is also rich in vitamin C, which supports immunity and helps lower fatigue, and contains fibre that feeds the gut bacteria.
Yakult UK and Ireland managing director Hiroaki Yoshimura said: “We invest in flavour exploration because we know that taste is an increasingly important driver of purchase in our category.
“Our commitment is reflected in exciting options like our new Yakult Plus Peach, designed to seamlessly fit into consumers’ daily routines.”
Power Water

Hydration and concentration beverage brand Power Water has launched exclusively in Iceland Foods and The Food Warehouse.
The drink, which is priced at £1, is available in three variations including Blue Raspberry, Cherry, and Tropical.
Power Water combines caffeine and hydration to tackle fatigue and boost concentration, with essential B vitamins and branded-chain amino acids.
Power Water managing director Sanj Dosanjh said: “We’re extremely passionate about offering a hydrating, alternative to fizzy drinks and know from our research that our fans are too, with many seeking healthier alternative functional drinks – not just when in a gym environment, but also within their day to day lives.”
Starbucks x Nescafé

Nestlé has unveiled a new addition to the Starbucks at Home range with a Pumpkin Spice Latte variant for Nescafé.
Inspired by the Starbucks coffee shop experience, the product combines the coffee chain’s espresso, milk and pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg flavours, made with Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine at home.
Available at Tesco, Amazon and the Nescafé Dolce Gusto web shop, the product is non-high in fat, salt or sugar (non-HFSS), contains 77 calories per mug, and contains no artificial flavours.
Nestlé UK and Ireland brand lead for Starbucks Oksana Giltrap said: “We are thrilled to welcome the Pumpkin Spice Latte as the newest addition to our Starbucks at Home range.
“Coffee lovers will be able to enjoy this Starbucks classic and its warm and autumnal notes from the comfort of their own home, whatever the weather.”
