Asda has unveiled a host of savings on grocery favourites for customers celebrating the bank holiday weekend.

The supermarket giant has launched deals ranging across BBQ items, ice cream, fruits and alcohol.

Discounts featured in the campaign include Asda Strawberries 600g now £2.00, down from £2.89, Asda Sticky Americana Inspired BBQ Wings at £4.00, down from £5.50l, and Magnum Ice Cream three-packs at £1.62, down from £2.00.

Other offers available include the grocer’s ‘Fab 5’ offer on selected veg priced under £1, a two for £5 offer on selected cereals, as well as a price drop across over 1,000 branded products, such as Birds Eye Chicken Dippers, McCain Smiles and Starbucks Coffee 220ml.

The bank holiday campaign also sees the return of Asda’s ‘Buy six, Save 25% offer’ for customers purchasing six or more bottles of wine.

The supermarket’s latest discounts follows recent research it conducted, which found that UK households are prioritising saving over spending, despite disposable income reaching the highest levels since the cost-of-living crisis.
