Tesco has unveiled new additions to its firepit range and is bringing back its exclusive Taste Shack range to offer more summer mealtime options.

The supermarket giant is adding five new products to its Firepit range including a seasoned beef shoulder marinated in a barbecue glaze, soy and ginger pork riblets, honey glazed pork belly bites, cheese and bacon burger kofta kebabs, and lemon and black pepper chicken sizzles.

Alongside this, Tesco’s Taste Shack range will be making a return, featuring ready-to-cook chicken-centred mains and sides, such as piri piri chicken breasts, southern fried mini fillets, a lemon and herb half chicken, piri piri chips, spicy rice, and garlic ciabatta.

Tesco director of product development and innovation Breige Donaghy said: “We’re thrilled to reintroduce our exclusive Firepit and Taste Shack ranges to customers this summer, both of which have been crafted to invigorate every meal with vibrant flavours and restaurant inspired recipes.

“This year we’ve been inspired by international cuisines and can’t wait for our customers to recreate the recognisable dishes of southern style BBQ, or Portuguese Piri Piri in the convenience of their own home.”

To mark the expansion and re-launch of the ranges, Clubcard members will be able to use deals such as two for £8 on Firepit items and can purchase one Taste Shack main, side and an extra for £7.
