Morrisons partners with Just Eat to offer rapid grocery delivery

Morrisons has teamed up with Just Eat to offer on-demand delivery across the supermarket giant’s Daily convenience stores.

Initially rolling out to almost 60 stores this month, shoppers can buy thousands of products via the Just Eat app or website for speedy delivery from their local Morrisons store.

The partnership plans to expand to more than 640 sites in early 2024.

The rapid grocery delivery firm will also offer up to 50% off selected essentials until 24 December across participating stores.

Morrisons convenience online and wholesale director Joseph Sutton said: “We have Morrisons Dailys across the country and partnering with Just Eat will offer another fast and convenient way for customers to get Morrisons groceries delivered straight to their door.”

Just Eat UK strategic accounts director Amy Heather added: “We know that our customers are increasingly seeking convenience, particularly in those busy moments like Christmas, and our partnership with Morrisons Daily shows our ongoing commitment to delivering a wide range and more options for our customers to get whatever they need, wherever and whenever they need them.”

This comes as Just Eat unveiled a new trial with Asda and the Lego Group last month to offer rapid toy delivery just ahead of Christmas.

The trial allows shoppers to order Lego items via the delivery app from five Asda stores in Hartlepool, Cwmbran, Dundee Milton, Watford and Hunts Cross.
