Tesco has appointed One Stop managing director Sarah Lawler as its new MD of convenience.
Lawler first became MD at Tesco-owned One Stop in July 2022.
She has been at the leading retailer for over 20 years and has held senior positions including business support director and retail director for larger stores.

Speaking of the new position, Lawler told The Grocer: “I am really delighted to be appointed to this exciting role, working with a world class team of colleagues.
“We have exciting plans for convenience, which has been a key area of growth for Tesco in recent times.”
This comes as part of a wider leadership shake-up that will see Lawler taking over the role from Kevin Tindall who has been appointed Tesco MD for large stores.
Stephanie Wood, who has previously held the roles of chief commerical officer and commerical director for fresh food and commodities at Tesco, will now become One Stop’s new MD.

As One Stop is a subsidiary of Tesco PLC.Surely that means a sideways move for her and more like a transfer from subsidiary to another subsidiary?
