Morrisons has launched a new traditional roast deal for the Easter holidays that will offer a leg of lamb and all the trimmings for under £24.
All items included in the meal are British and customers can pick up a tender leg of lamb, parsnips, carrots, savoy cabbage, potatoes, mint sauce and a cheesecake for dessert for just £23.82.
The Easter roast meal will be available in all Morrisons nationwide and online from Monday 3 April. In total, the new deal means the entire roast will feed six and cost less than £4 per person.

The supermarket chain is assisting British farmers mitigate ongoing cost pressures to meet demand. As a result, Morrisons is now working with over 700 lamb farmers across the UK in which it stays committed to only selling fresh lamb that is 100% British.
For example, Morrisons recently unveiled its ‘Next Generation’ programme – working with beef, pork and lamb farmers to help them develop efficient and sustainable businesses for the future. 35 farmers have graduated from Morrisons ‘Next Generation’ scheme to date and a further 20 are currently working through it.
This is paired with its new ‘Elite Beef’ scheme – supporting over 20 British farmers through Morrisons food chain finance programme which aims to help the next generation of beef farmers get into farming.
The initiative is also helping Morrisons reduce its emissions and build strong relationships for the future.
According to the retailer, it is British farming’s biggest direct supermarket customer and works directly with over 2,700 farmers and growers all year round, to ensure customers can purchase products of the highest quality whilst reducing food miles and backing local producers.
“We know that roasts play a big part in Easter celebrations and we are proud to help our customers and farmers at this key seasonal moment,” chief customer and marketing officer, Rachel Eyre said.
“Our Easter meal will help people come together to enjoy delicious, fresh food at an affordable price and because roast lamb would not be the same without it, mint sauce is included!”
It comes as Morrisons has rolled out price cuts across a further 490 products in its third attempt this year to stop shoppers from switching to discount grocer Aldi.

The meal won’t feed a hearty family of six, however, still good value for a family of four.
