He added: “Our heartfelt thanks to all our customers and colleagues for giving their money and time so generously. Our colleagues have clocked up over 282,000 hours volunteering since 2013. We’re incredibly grateful and proud of each and every one of them.”
In September 2022, One Stop was recognised at the Retail Industry Awards 2022 for its community oriented initiatives and awarded the Multiple Community Retailer of the Year award.
Since 2013, One Stop has raised and donated an average £1m every year, and is set to meet this figure again this year.
This comes as One Stop has launched its 2023 scholarship programme which looks to support young adults in beginning their careers.
Candidates aged 18 to 24 and educated through a state school can apply for the scheme, with those successful awarded with a £15,000 bursary, a business mentor and a paid summer internship to support their three-year graduate course at a UK university.
